Forever Colours is a family focused, community-based children’s hospice in Buckinghamshire. We provide care to families who have babies, children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions or profound and multiple learning disabilities.

Our team offers a variety of services including respite care, advocacy, sibling and parent support, one-to-one help, group days out, post-death and end of life care. However, what makes us different is the personal energy and attention to detail that we bring to our work. We always focus on the child and wrap our holistic services around the family.

Advocacy

We like to take as much as we possibly can off the plates of families. We have experts who will efficiently take care of day-to-day tasks and have connections with the right people to get things done, whilst also offering emotional support, regular communication and a constant connection to our organisation.

Play Therapy

Play is the way in which children learn and develop; where they can make sense of the world around them, learn to express themselves, and explore their thoughts and feelings. Our holistic play and creative therapy will help your child - and the family - address and explore all of their emotional, social and practical needs.

Children's hospice in Buckinghamshire

Having launched in 2018, we currently work within the community across Buckinghamshire. We chose to start Forever Colours in this part of South East England because we wanted to provide support where it was needed the most. Research showed a profound need in the area.

We began by offering respite care. However, we believe that listening and continuing to develop the support that we offer is essential. After all, our purpose is to help individuals and individual families, making sure that they have the help they need when they need it.

With that in mind, as we got to know the community, we found a need for additional services like advocacy and help for families where children have a profound and multiple learning disability (PMLD). So, we widened our scope to include those as well.

COVID-19 information

All of our carers are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and take lateral flow tests before any interaction with our patients and their families.
